Synopsis

Graduated from the École du Louvre and ENSA Paris-Malaquais, Dries trained in some of Europes most renowned architecture studios before founding her own practice. Today, she leads projects ranging from residential and cultural architecture to furniture collections, while collaborating with artisans across Europe.

For Sophie Dries, design is a conversation between tradition and innovation. She embraces craft heritage while reinterpreting it with a modern sensibility.

  • Dialogue with artisans: each project is rooted in collaboration.

  • Material culture: highlighting the richness of wood, stone, ceramics and textiles.

  • Timeless modernity: balancing minimal lines with expressive textures.

Her practice includes furniture, ceramics, glassware and interior architecture. By combining handcraft with contemporary design, Dries creates works that are refined, tactile and infused with cultural memory.
